We’ve completed the Super 8 Skate video!
This is a compilation of original Super 8 film from the 1970s in Santa Barbara.
It is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day at 6pm Pacific on Maheekat YouTube!
It has early skate from clay wheels to urethane, make shift ramps, the very first wheelie kids, skating empty pools for the first time in skate history, skating the tea bowl before it was blown up or had any graffiti, surfing the pit and Braemar.
The mastermind behind it was Paul Longo. We’ve edited the film in his honour. We also want to thank Dana Longo for digitizing the footage.
The film includes an all Santa Barbara bands soundtrack!
