Video Premiere for “Maheekats Pure Pansophy” – Monday, 17 November

Maheekats Pure Pansophy

Best enjoyed with headphones.

In this composition the guitar begins the journey with a gentle arpeggio. A second guitar is introduced in a complimentary pattern.

To ground us along the way, a familiar synth bass sound is established using a Yamaha DX7 keyboard with an Ibanez DM1100 delay. From there, a sparkling magical sound of faerie chimes invite us to open to the beauty we see around us. These sounds are also created with the DX7 keyboard and Ibanez delay.

After this exploration of the foundational scene or realm, we are reminded of the beauty that lives within us all. We are free to be vulnerable, as well as strong and resilient. To reflect this, kind and peaceful voices are added. One on each side of the stereo spectrum.

Finally, and probably most importantly, as an expression of appreciation for the beauty of our inner wisdom, tambourine and cymbal are revealed. It’s in the gentle pulsing of the tambourine and the magical rhythm of the cymbal that we, in the fullness of time, appreciate our true nature.

This is wonderful vibrant music to allow yourself to open up to the beauty of the universal wisdom within you; to forgive yourself and others so you can finally be free.

If you are listening with headphones, which is recommended, you will hear a squirrel bark intermittently on the right channel starting at around 30 seconds and lasting for a couple of minutes. I had the window open that morning. You’ll hear her on the vocal track that’s panned to the right. I decided to leave this in as well as all the blank silent space on all the tracks between the different sections where I’m not playing.

All instruments are played in tune with 432Hz, including the cymbal. The cymbal was found during a late night walk by a local park. It appears to be a gift from the universe as we attempted to contact the owner and had no replies to our advertisement. One of its natural harmonics is 432Hz. credits released November 13, 2025
